Acute inflammation Quiz

Chemotaxis of neutrophils to the site of infection is mediated by chemokines, which include LTB4, C3a, C5a, IL-8, and bacterial products.
Histamine, bradykinin, PGI2, PGD2, and PGE2 are responsible for vasodilation during acute inflammation. Mast cells secrete stored histamine and bradykinin, supplemented by blood basophils.
