Bilaminar Disk = Epiblast + Hypoblast
Epiblast and Hypoblast fuse to form cranial end of the embryo (Prechordal Plate)
Spontaneous Abortion --> Occur mostly in the first 3 weeks of development; embryo is not noticed by the mother due to its small size
Hydatidiform Mole --> damaged blatocyst due to abnormal fertilization; extensive, overdevelopment of paternal trophoblast cells with enlarged chorionic villi with little to no development of embryo
