4-Week Internal Medicine Virtual Rotation

Upon completion, each student can expect to obtain two LORs on a hospital Letterhead. One from a current Program Director of TRI residency and one from a Core-Internal Medicine residency faculty, both from NJ programs.

Each virtual session will be approximately one hour, they will occur via zoom, 2 days a week and will be clinical- focusing on hospital based Medicine.

We review all the “bread and butter” cases seen in real patients in our US hospital and provide didactics on how to approach, diagnose, and treat these patients, in order to give medical students a leg up when going on audition/externship rotations or beginning residency in the USA. We present the real patient symptoms, physical exam findings, laboratory data (de-identified), diagnostic imaging results, and encourage differential diagnosis and treatment discussion.

Approximately a total of 10-Hrs of live interactive time for the 4 week block, however students should use additional asynchronous time to read up on topics discussed.

Students should anticipate to be available via zoom: Tuesday and Thursday 12PM-2PM for the 2 weekly sessions. All in US EST.
